Why Reinvent the Wheel?

Date

It seems to me that we are on the verge of a revolution in real estate.
Clients deserve better service, better results, and should be able to expect an enhanced experience.
However, one significant burden on our industry is that we are all independent contractors. Often, the broker you trust must also play the roles of marketer, accountant, graphic designer, legal advisor, and skilled salesperson. It’s no surprise that progress is slow. Many in my industry are barely surviving. It often feels like we are isolated on our own individual tracts, starting always from scratch.

In addition, to keep fees low, most real estate agencies are forced to cut back on essential services and training especially. As a result, momentum and synergy are spent, and brokers in 2024 are recycling mistakes made already in the ‘80s.

So, where do we start to see the next checkered flag?
Let’s not reinvent the wheel.
I don’t want to spend five years figuring out something on my own when previous generations’ brokers have already made the mistakes; and, I can learn from their experiences. This is why, my cousin Philippe and I, meet and consult with colleagues, and participate in conferences with real estate professionals worldwide.
Our goal and success has been to master tracks already discovered, and cut paths and implement changes, with advice from those who have reached the next level.
Sometimes, all it takes is a new idea, a small tweak, or shedding the weight of an outdated practice which had become habit.
The ultimate aim is to take it a cycle further, faster.
My team and I will make the opportunity to be part of the massive changes taking place in real estate. That’s what we are always striving for, with and for you, our clients, friends, and our neighbours.
