Bloom just celebrated their 7th anniversary in March.
\nNorah Pare, the manager, has worked at Bloom for over five years, the last two as chef and kitchen manager.<\/p>\n
The cafe was opened by Jess Begault and her cousin, both originally from Belgium, who saw the need for a neighbourhood spot in PSC, at that time a bit of a food desert.
\nEmphasis is laid on the third wave coffee, and delicious food.<\/p>\n
“During this strange period, we have re-opened as an \u00e9picerie and pr\u00eat-\u00e0-manger pick-up spot. We are offering some of our dishes, pastry and of course coffee beans! Also carrying the basics: eggs, milk, cheese, bread, yogurt, soup and of course JAM!<\/p>\n
Most of our clientele, especially now, are our neighbours from the Pointe and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n
Honestly, being back in the caf\u00e9 has kept me sane. Doing what I love, and hanging out with my parents\u2019 dog, Marley.<\/p>\n
