And my answer might surprise you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A buyer-friendly market, for now<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right now, especially for condos, inventory is high and interest rates are still relatively low. What that means in practice: you&#8217;re shopping without pressure, you have options, and you have room to negotiate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s rare. Take advantage of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Higher rates don&#8217;t mean lower prices<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many buyers are waiting for prices to drop before making a move. But recent history tells a different story. In 2023, when rates doubled, inventory dropped drastically and prices stayed roughly the same. Sellers simply pulled their properties off the market rather than accept lower offers.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Waiting for rates to come down could mean less choice and more competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>So what do I advise?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re financially ready and you find a property that fits your needs, don&#8217;t wait for the perfect moment.
